For the Kinodance Festival in April 2009 Point A –> B was installed in a dramatic setting in St. Petersburg, for which the piece was completely remade.
The Peter and Paul Fortress is St. Petersburg’s oldest building, occupying the small Hare Island in the Neva River across from the main part of the city. This is where the Tsars (and, briefly, the Bolsheviks) interrogated, tortured, and imprisoned their adversaries, and it was in a vaulted brick chamber at the end of the long so-called “Secret Passageway” that the artwork was exhibited.
