Same thing happened to me except it randomly occurred when opening another sheet. The blacked-out text showed up on the sheet that had already been open. And I don't know if this helps, but it also occurred on boxes that existed on the sheet prior to starting up Field. Other boxes that I created during that session did not have blacked-out text.

Are we running out of texture memory on laptops? Not so say that this isn't a bug (a leak is a leak is a leak), but if you're finding that this is happening on laptops and not decent desktops (like our 8800 Mikey) then that's a good clue.

I am running this on the new Mac Pro at the space (the specs I showed to you earlier, with the 8800).

Ok. we must be leaking a vast amount of texture ram to run out on an 8800. In any case, hopefully I can make a nice repeatable bug by scripting the movement of the timeline or something.

Can't reproduce on the hardware I have to hand this week. Will take another look at it infront of hardware that's identical to Mikey next week

After confering with Mikey, it looks like we can get to the "redacted" point faster by using some of the on sheet components (Swing components or sheetSlider()'s). Hopefully, if I can repeat it, I can fix it.
